Things of Interest:

_ The glider port at Torrey Pines where one can watch paragliders launch off the cliff and "surf" the wind.

     _ World famous Swami's, in Encinitas, where one can watch surfers.

     _ Just taking a drive along 101, along the coast, going north or south is enjoyable, stopping to browse in the towns along the way (La Jolla, Del Mar, Solana Beach, Cardiff by the Sea, Encinitas, Carlsbad and Oceanside) and grab a bite to eat at one of the many, many eating establishments.

     _ Going to Bully's in Solana Beach, a renowned night club with name entertainment and a great happy hour.

     _ The nearby world famous Torrey Pines golf course and the Lomas Santa Fe golf course are both located less than two miles away. Just behind our hotel is Pelly's miniature golf course and driving range.

     _ Watching the sunset on the beach ( less than a mile away ). If one is lucky, and things are just right in the atmosphere, it may be possible to see the "green flash" as the sun dips below the horizon.
